UML Sequence Diagram: An Alternative Model

چکیده
The UML sequence diagram is the second most common that represents how objects interact and exchange messages over time. Sequence diagrams show events or activities in a use case are mapped into operations of object classes class diagram. general acceptance can be attributed to their relatively intuitive nature ability describe partial behaviors (as opposed such as state charts). However, studies have shown 80% graduating students were unable create software design even design, many had no idea constrained by other models. Many exhibited difficulties identifying valid interacting constructing with appropriate arguments. Additionally, according authorities, though different semantics been proposed for (e.g., translations machines), there exists suitable semantic basis refinement required behavior because direct style do not precisely capture behaviors; formalisms disregard essential features guard conditions critical regions. This paper proposes an alternative diagrams, generalized model provides further understanding assimilate them new modeling language called thinging machine (TM). extended horizontally removing superficial vertical-only dimensional limitation expansion preserve logical chronology events. TM diagramming spread nonlinearly terms actions. Events constructed on plane description superimposed initial static description. result more refined representation would simplify process. demonstrated through remodeling cases from literature.

Mapping Sequence diagram in Fuzzy UML to Fuzzy Petri Net
This ability in fuzzy UML, practically leaves the customers and market’s need without response in this important and vital area. Here, the available sequence diagrams in fuzzy UML will map into fuzzy Petri net. However, the formal models ability will be added to the Semi-formal fuzzy UML. This formalization will add the automatic processing ability to the Semi-formal fuzzy UML. Further more, t...
متن کاملAgent UML Sequence Diagram And Meta-Model
UML sequence diagrams used to define basic interactions between objects at the level of method invocation while they are not well-suited for describing the complex interactions as they occur in multi-agent systems. In order to solve this problem, Agent UML is proposed based on UML2.0 by OMG and FIPA. Three extensions to UML are analyzed and an example is utilized to show the Agent UML sequence ...
متن کاملUML Sequence Diagram Tutorial
What is a UML sequence diagram? UML sequence diagrams are used to represent or model the flow of messages, events and actions between the objects or components of a system. Time is represented in the vertical direction showing the sequence of interactions of the header elements, which are displayed horizontally at the top of the diagram. Sequence Diagrams are used primarily to design, document ...

متن کاملModeling Agent Mobility with UML Sequence Diagram
This paper presents a proposal for modeling agent mobility using UML Sequence Diagram. Our notation is focused on representing agent migration path and includes modeling of three basic mobility elements: agent creation, mobility path and current agent location. Four variants of graphical notation are presented. In a case study we explain one variant of notation that is the most suitable for giv...
